Drawing live at the launch of MYSLF

Last week YSL Germany organised a fantastic event in Berlin to present their new men's perfume MYSLF (what a cool name, by the way). And once again I had to pinch myself as I was chosen as the sketch artist to liven up the evening. So many handsome guys in one night!

It was, as always, non-stop drawing until midnight, but I was very happy to be part of the team on such a special occasion.

The location was wonderful, an old industrial building, in the purest Berlin style, with its brick walls and metal roof structure. It had been decorated to reflect the qualities of the perfume: masculine and feminine (M and F). Hard mirrored reflective surfaces, diffused light, little white flowers on a black background. Beautiful.

I adapted my drawings to this style and did them basically in black and white, using ink wash, and with some silver metallic detail.

I had the chance not only to draw some very attractive men but also some beautiful female models (like Soulin Omar) and to meet the singer Lena Meyer-Landrut (thank you, Petra Stadler, for the photos). Things that happen with this job.
