Memories:

  • The quite and pristine air in the early morning in Queenstown. The silhouette of the Remarkables watching upon the town.
  • A delicious pie in Te Anau.
  • First 5 kilometres on the Milford Track: incredibly transparent water, meeting our friends Flo and Katty and the rest of our companions for the three days to come.
  • Our first gourmet dinner from the Back-Country-Cuisin bags. Even ice-cream for dessert. Decadent, I know. But fun. And tasty too.
